In-House Staff Development & Training in the Garden Route

Your staff is the most important asset of your business and investing in their skills is proven to be valuable in the growth of a business, especially in the service industry. We offer two workshops, nl. Housekeeping and Front Office Operations, working closely with your room attendant and Reception teams to teach them the tricks and traits of the trade and to develop their skills, not only that the highest cleanliness standards are maintained, but that your valued guests receive a warm welcome and professional front desk experience.


The entire workforce is a reflection of an establishment's hospitality culture, which is why everyone needs to be trained from top to bottom on certain specific values and standards.

Every property has it's own special way of doing things, whether it be offering a thoughtful turndown service, special welcome basket for your guests, or towel origami, creatively put on the bed to impress them. These are all components of a corporate culture that is designed to enhance the guest experience. Training your staff at each location helps ensure that everybody will have a consistent experience.


Many Hospitality staff members start on entry-level positions and work their way up. Training makes it easier to recognize the talent that can be developed for higher management positions, for example, a specific housekeeper may show potential to fill a more leading role such as Head Housekeeper or Housekeeping Supervisor, while a Receptionist may show potential for filling the role of a Reservations Manager or even Guest House Assistant Manager.

In this 1-Day workshop, we work closely with your Housekeeping teams, covering: 

  • Basic housekeeping & cleanliness principles.
  • What guests expect.
  • Time Management.
  • Working together harmoniously as a team.
  • Clear communication between F.O.H & B.O.H.
  • Deep cleaning.
  • Cleaning general & communal areas.
  • Managing In-House laundry.
  • Covid-19 protocol.


COST: R350 per staff member (Excl. Travel cost) Minimum 2 Trainees

Travel cost are calculated at R100 per 50km travelled.

*** Printed certificate of competence (industry recognized) included ***


Breakfast training can be added at an additional cost of R150 per person.

In this 2-Day workshop, we work closely with your Front Desk, Reception & Management teams, covering:

  • Attending to telephonic & E-mail enquiries promptly.
  • Making & confirming a reservation.
  • The Traveler's Journey.
  • Telephone etiquette.
  • Managing your Nightsbridge booking software.
  • OTA Management & Optimization.
  • Social Media.
  • Check-in and out procedure.
  • Customer Service.
  • Concierge Service.
  • Dealing with guest complaints in a professional manner.
  • Dealing with complex booking and guest requests.
  • Covid-19 protocol.
  • Assigning staff duties.
  • Working together harmoniously as a team.


COST: R750 per staff member (Excl. Travel cost) Minimum 2 Trainees

Travel cost are calculated at R100 per 50km travelled.
